Blue Ox Base Plates - Main Page Fits HYUNDAI Sonata 2011 to 2011
Blue Ox Baseplates bolt to the frame and are custom made to fit your specific towed vehicle. Each baseplate is specially designed to absorb shock and is integrated into the individual bumper/frame design of your vehicle. Due to its unique design, the baseplate "flexes" when met with force rather than rigidly transfer the force to the frame of the vehicle. In addition, the tabs on selected Blue Ox baseplates can be easily removed for when you aren't towing a car or motorhome. These removable tabs make the baseplate virtually invisible to the casual observer, thereby enhancing the aesthetics of your vehicle.Blue Ox baseplates come equipped with all the necessary hardware you will need to install them and will bolt to a secure place on the towed vehicle. Many Blue Ox Baseplates are designed to use existing holes and hardware to mount the baseplate to the towed vehicle. Even though bolts are there, however, do not assume they are adequate for baseplate mounting. Always use hardware supplied in the hardware kit or existing hardware specified in the Baseplate Towing Installation Instructions. Please note that baseplate height measurements are approximate and may vary slightly depending on the size and type of tire installed on the vehicle.While RV Base Plates are usually specific to the brand of tow bar you have, adapters are available to use your tow bar with these Blue Ox Baseplates. Because each Blue Ox baseplate is unique to a particular vehicle, you may call our Parts Department or use our handy automated baseplate selection form in order to find the exact baseplate for your vehicle.
